VJK aka Kaoru Yamamoto (Japan) and Ken Ishii (Japan) have received a commission to perfrm at the Van Gogh Museum for the closing event of their three ands halfmonth long exhibition entitled "The Japanese Season" (7 July through 22 October).
In commemoration of this historical eve of the closing of this occasion, VJK will use works of Van Gogh into her digital animation in oader to create a dynamic mix of images consisting of modern and classic Japanese cultural icons. She has invited Ken Ishii, the world leading techno DJ and music composer to collaborate "live" along with her visuals. |
